As story-tellers of subcultures, we received this short film about the African skateboarding subculture with a lot of enthusiasm. Titled 'Valley of a Thousand Hills', and directed by Jess Colquhoun the film explores a South African village's "very first generation of skaters, who are growing up with a different outlook on life from their elders."
The village has a secret meeting space, named 'Indigo Skate Camp' where Zulu kids stay pre-occupied with skateboarding. Dive into this subculture. Watch the film below.
