If you are living in Europe you probably have not heard of The Quiet Life very much. The Quiet Life (TQL) is an independent lifestyle brand from Los Angeles, rooted in art, photography, design, music, skateboarding.
Unlike other brands, TQL has an actual feel around it, some substance that other over-hyped brands (looking at you Supreme and Black Scale) tend to lack. Started by Andy Mueller in 1997, The Quiet Life became the culmination of his love of design and photography and his upbringing with skateboarding, BMX and music. If you want to find a brand that represents as many interests you have as a person, then with Andy and The Quiet Life, you have found it.
The Garvanza Collection
The Quiet Life, released it second Spring 2016 drop “The Garvanza Collection” is full of SoCal goodness. Named after the historic area of The Quiet Life’s neighborhood, the collection features typical Cali spring wear. Button down shirts, shorts, tees, soccer jerseys and tank tops reflecting a little bit of 90’s style in the present.
Other than TQL being a skate inspired clothing brand they are also focused on art, photography, design and music which is why every season they invite a favorite photographer to shoot their look book. This season they announced that their Spring 16 "Delivery Two" Collection was shot by Los Angeles photographer, Dan Monick (instagram:@danmonick) in his studio in Atwater Village ( L.A.).
