Two of the greatest contemporary artist’s work comes to Amsterdam with the opening of the Moco Museum. The Modern Contemporary Museum, created by Lionel and Kim Logchies from the Lionel Gallery, was created with the specific purpose of introducing young people and a wider audience to art that is typically not accessible because it is usually hidden to the public.

To start this trend behind the contemporary art museum properly, the opening on the 9th of April will include work from street artist Banksy and pop art legend Andy Warhol.

Joining the Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum and Rijksmuseum on Amsterdam’s beautiful and famous Museum Square, the Modern Contemporary Museum will have a lot of work to do to keep up with the Jones’. The museum is definitely starting off on the right foot.
