Mona Caron is the definition of a street artist, working mainly with murals; she makes stunningly detailed street art all around the world. This San Francesco based artist recently began working on a small project called “Weeds.”

The idea behind “Weeds” is for the green-themed graffiti to take on elements of the subject, weeds. Just like normal weeds these murals creep, crawl, and overtake walls and remind people that weeds, which are often overlooked, “may be tiny, but they break through concrete. They are everywhere yet unseen.”

Intended as a tribute to these plants, these murals take on an animated form which is pretty innovative in the graffiti world. Check out the video to get a better idea of what Weeds is about.
