Stock photos are a necessary evil in the world of copyright, Creative Commons and, and corporate marketing. If you subscribe to any online community like 9GAG, reddit or have friends on Facebook that do, you’ll have likely come across memes featuring “Laughing woman eating healthy vegetable salad” or “Smiling seniors using laptop.”
In fact, some of the more awful pictures have earned their places in history because they have been overused and established as funny clichés (memes). Adobe Stock teamed up with a Swedish ad agency Abby Priest to honor the notoriously bad stock photos and ring in a new age of modern, better quality ones. What better way to memorialize the notorious stock photos that creatives love to hate, than with a limited edition clothing line.
Sadly, Adobe says the clothing is only available to a very select audience and not for public sale but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy these hilariously ironic pieces.
