Celebrating the 20th anniversary of their critically acclaimed Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) debut album, the legendary, 9-man-strong hip hop formation searched to partner with HUF. It's a predominantly unexpected collaboration because Wu-Tang were one of the biggest names in the 90s to drop their own merchandise, under the name Wu Wear. Always sticking to their simple designs (predominantly their Wu-Tang symbol) and characterizing black-and-yellow colorway - they stuck to their successful branding from the 90s for their release with HUF.
The collaborative capsule collection, released in 2014, consisted of 5 items - a football jersey (numbered 36) with words "Protect Ya Neck" on the back (the name of the most popular track on the album), two pairs of socks - combining the the HUF hemp-leaf with the Wu-Tang symbol (inverse colors), a snap-back with an all-over Wu-Tang print and a pair of HR-1 sneakers.
Judge for yourself below. We're pretty big fans of the collaboration - simple, yet dope - and that snapback !
