MEXICAN TOWN BECOMES LARGEST MURAL

upload.jpeg

Earlier this year the Mexican government asked the mural and graffiti artist group Germen Crew to paint 209 houses in the Mexican village of  Palmitas. The goal of this 215,000 square foot piece of art was to beautify the village but amazingly since the work was completed, crime in the community has dropped dramatically and the families living there feel happier and more confident.

Maybe this was the result of Germen Crew asking the community to participate or maybe it is true that beautiful surroundings truly make us happy.

Check out a video of the work here .
